What health insurances do you accept?

We are in-network with these health insurance companies:
• BCBS PPO
• BCBS Choice PPO
• Aetna
• United Healthcare
• Optum
• Meritain
• Allied Benefits
• TrustMark

We do not accept HMOs, Medicare, Medicaid or Community plans.

Will you check my insurance benefits?

We do not do benefit checks before your first appointment. Please call your insurance company to verify we are in-network as well as your behavioral health benefits.

Here are questions to ask your insurance provider:

• What is my co-pay and/or co-insurance amount(s) for each session?

• Do I have to meet a deductible before my copay begins? If so, what is the cost of each session?

• What is my deductible limit, how much is remaining and when does it reset?

• Is pre-authorization needed prior to beginning services?

• Is there a per year session limit?

How much does a therapy session cost if I am not using insurance?

We are committed to keeping our self pay costs the same even as inflation rises.

• 50 minute Individual Session (office or video): $135
• 50 minute Couple Session (office or video): $160
• 50 minute Family Session (office or video): $160

What is your cancelation policy?

We require 24 hour notice to cancel a session. We understand that life happens outside of your control, so we do not charge the full session fee for the late cancellation or missed session like other places.

The late cancel fee is $70 which will automatically be charged to the card on file.

Are my sessions confidential?

Yes. If you are over the age of 18, your therapy is kept private, and your counselor cannot disclose any information about your sessions to your parents without your permission. However, if you are using your parents' insurance to pay for the sessions, they might be able to see the billing information, which includes the dates of your sessions, through their insurance statements.

What should I do if I have an urgent issue and can’t wait for my next session?

We do not have a 24-hour hotline. However, you can reach out to your therapist, who will get back to you by the next business day. If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 911 or the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline at 988. Your safety is our top priority.

Will counseling affect my academic record or future job prospects?

No, counseling will not affect your academic record or future job prospects. Your participation in counseling is confidential and is not included in your academic records. Employers do not have access to your counseling information.
